4 Magic Steps To Increasing Chiropractic Yelp Reviews
Do you tithe?? We all know the antiquated definition of tithing, “Tithe 10% as your moral obligation then any additional is considered an offering that will soon multiply”. Weather you are a religious tither, a wild heathen 😉 or anything in between, the act of “giving” always produces benefits for the giver that sometime even exceed the benefits for the receiver! We’ve all experienced those moments of being filled with so much excitement about a gift that we are giving that we can hardly contain our enthusiasm long enough for the receiver to open the gift.
What if we took this concept of giving a minimum of 10% and applied it in every area of our lives? What would happen if we gifted 10% of our time? What would happen if we gifted 10% of our thoughts? What would happen if we gifted 10% of our talents? Would your life be enriched? Would you continuously experience the abundance of joy that giving brings? Would you reach new levels of happiness and success? How would your business benefit? How would your relationships improve?
So what does this all have to do with yelp? This is my challenge to you today:
Step 1. Commit
Commit to 5 minutes a week to write a yelp review for your favorite business and/or chiropractic office (other than yours) and watch the magical ripple effect continue.
Step 2. Make it Last
The best way to implement something new in your life is to make it an enjoyable habit with a reoccurring time/date commitment. Pick a time and day of the week that this will be most enjoyable for you. If you want to make it even better add in a pleasurable treat. I like to write my yelp reviews while soaking in an Epsom salt bath!
Step 3. Mindful Intent
If you already know that this will be a “task list” item that you are going to dread each week then don’t bother. Your review will suck! Plus obligatory giving never feels good and rarely produces lasting benefits for the giver or receiver. The intent while writing the review will affect the content quality of it. Try visualizing the person or business that you are writing the review for. Imagine exactly how it felt to receive their care/product/services. For example, if you were writing a review for a chiropractic office (great idea, you’re brilliant) you may consider imagining exactly how you feel when you get a life giving adjustment. You can also reflect back on how you felt the first time that you walked into that office and were delightfully greeted by the outstanding well-trained chiropractic assistants!
Step 4. Enjoy the Magic
Step back and watch your 5 minute a week investment multiply.
After an abundantly grateful person reads this they may feel compelled to share this blog with all of their chiropractor and chiropractic assistant friends. Perhaps they may even write a review for you!
Enjoy the magic of giving back!

*Urgent message for new yelpers!*
For those of you that are brand new yelpers sometimes yelp will filter out your first few reviews that you write. No need to get discouraged. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice using superlatives to describe your favorite food trucks. Then, once you are an established yelper you will also be a brilliant linguist that has much practice producing descriptive reviews. You will then be an experienced yelp critic that is speeding the chiropractic message in today’s fastest growing referral outlet!
